A Season of Giving: How We Supported Local Families This Thanksgiving

As we step into December, we’re reflecting with gratitude on the impact we made together last month. At The Rideshare Company, our commitment to supporting the community goes beyond transportation. It is about connection, compassion, and showing up where help is needed most.
This November, our team proudly participated in the annual Bloomfield Social & Youth Services Thanksgiving Basket Distribution, helping ensure that families in our community could enjoy a warm, meaningful holiday meal. Through team donations and collective contributions, we gathered a variety of essential non-perishable items, including stuffing, canned vegetables, cornbread mix, canned yams, beans, and pumpkin pie mix, that help make the season feel special.
In total, our team contributed:
- $270 worth of food items
- $150 in grocery gift cards to help families purchase fresh items like turkeys and other perishables
These baskets provided not just food, but comfort, dignity, and a reminder that our community cares.
As we continue into the 2025 Season of Giving, we’re inspired by the generosity shown this year and excited to continue supporting programs that uplift and strengthen the communities we serve.
