Asleep on the Job

Posted on by Kolbe

You work all day and it can be taxing. We’ve all been there, long hours, meetings after meetings, and you’re now getting tired. For most of us we’d just grab a cup of coffee. Depending on your line of work, you might opt to skip the coffee and just take a nap. For most of us, though, there would be consequences to that workday nap. Even criminals have consequences to sleeping on the job. A business owner in Kentucky came into work to find that a number of cars on the lot had been broken into. The police were called and the sleepy thief was found passed out in one of the vehicles. It was a fairly open and shut case, as the thief was found asleep in a car wearing a ski mask and black gloves. The moral of the story is trifold, alarm your car, don’t sleep on the job, and don’t dress like a stereotype of a cat burglar.
