Next year Finland celebrates its 100^th anniversary of independence from Russia. Its neighbor Norway wanted to commend the anniversary with a gift, so they decided to move mountains to make that happen. No, literally, Norway is considering moving their borders to gift a mountain to their 100-year-old neighbor. The proposed gift would move the border about forty meters and gift Finland what would be their new highest peak by about seven meters. The moral of this story is don’t forget to invite Norway to your next birthday party.
